We can do it!

Corporate sponsors are invited to invest in our

communi- trees. All they need to do is pledge a

donation that will correspond to the number of

trees that they wish planted.The Provincial

Government will allocate the plantation site that

shall be named after the corporate sponsor.

As part of the package, maintenance and

supervision of the site shall be undertaken by the

provincial Government in cooperation with the

Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Camsur is racing against time to help save

the environment, 2 Cities and 35

municipalities, 1036 Barangays and over

10,000 people will plant 500,000 trees in one

hour.

This unprecedented show of unity delivers

the strong message to the world that if

CamSur can do it, so can you! The fight to save

the environment should be everyone's cause -

it is a battle that we should all win, if we want

to preserve and protect the future generation.

(1) RAINFORESTATION

Uses mainly native species of trees. Includes

nursery operations, plantation establishment,

forest enhancement and maintenance in

upland areas designated as timberland or

forestland.

(2) RIVERBANK AND LAKESIDE PROTECTION

To prevent riverbank erosion

(3) MANGROVE AND BEACHES PROTECTION

To protect the coastline from erosive effects

of seawater.

(4) URBAN GREENING

Roadside tree plantation, tree parks,

community forest parks, school forest parks,

commercial corridors and neighborhood

parks.

FOOD FOR TREE

BACK TREE SCHOOL

Open to all families residing in CamSur. Each

participating family will be given in area to plant and

they will be required to maintain a minimum of 2,500

trees for two (2) years.

Choose the scheme that works best for your family and

receive the corresponding benefit such as food packs

and free educational subsidy for Elementary and High

School students.

In addition, the participating family will be

automatically enrolled in the PhilHealth Indigency

Program.

For those who want to earn a little extra income,

they can plant cash crops within the 2-year

maintenance period. The family has the right to the

harvest of the intercrops, provided that proper care

for the trees they have planted are ensured.

The Completion Rate for elementary and secondary

schools in CamSur is 66.86% and 68.37%

respectively. More than 30% have stopped schooling

due to poverty and other poverty related reasons.

The BACK TREE SCHOOL Program aims to increase

the rate of completion up to 98%.

Open to organizations and companies that wish to

sponsor deserving out of school youths in

Elementary and High School. For every 2,500 trees

planted, the Provincial Government will sponsor

and support 10 indigent scholars.

12 Million Trees by 2012 is only

Students will be entitled to College Scholarship Grants

in both public and private universities and colleges.

Each tree planted in designated areas in Camarines Sur

will be given school subsidies.

Interested students can choose the best educational

scheme that will be based on the number of trees

planted and maintained. Discounts can go as high as

50% to 100% off the regular tuition fees.

Trees will conserve the biodiversity of our

ecosystem and in the end, will help save lives and
